steveI love fundraising.  I love sharing an idea, a cause, or a candidate with a friend or colleague, causing them, in turn, to share in my enthusiasm.  I love taking someone through my vision of how supporting a particular organization or person can positively change their life, family, community, and even their country.  I might be a hopeless optimist, but I am passionate about making it simpler for someone to "raise their hand” – to do something- anything.  I genuinely believe that participation creates a powerful antidote for apathy.

Anyone can write a check. It takes 30 seconds and all it requires is a moment of generosity. But to fundraise . . . to believe in something or someone enough to take the time to reach out to your own network – your family, your friends, your colleagues – and ask them to support your cause requires a whole lot more.

Fundraising can be rewarding, energizing and inspiring.  Donating one’s time, one’s ideas and one’s passion serves us all. But for a volunteer, fundraising can also be overly time consuming, uncomfortable and even scary.  Remember, the first time you got behind the wheel, put on skis, agreed to a blind date!

Historically, campaign and organizational fundraising strategies have been designed to encourage people to write checks or donate online, not to help people fundraise. That’s what data analytics and what RevUp software can uniquely do! When we command data, we have the potential to fund every non-profit’s mission, to provide financial aid and quality education to every student, and to make running for political office a possibility for anyone, anywhere.  We make it easier, more efficient and most respectful for all types of organizations to raise the funds needed to do what they set out to do.

I welcome the opportunity to show you how RevUp is revolutionizing fundraising and hopefully the world.  I look forward to our future partnership.

 Sincerely,

Steve Spinner

We will take your fundraising efforts from no to yes

Organizations are so used to hearing “no” when asking people to fundraise, in most cases, they’ve just stopped asking. In the past, volunteer fundraising has either been an exercise in futility with low percentage returns on formula email blasts or a painstaking, mind bending, time consuming process of going through your contacts one-by-one and emailing or calling the individuals that you think might have an interest in supporting the cause you’re championing.

Gathering and knowing how to use the information to target and tailor ‘the Ask’ to best connect with each prospect requires a lot of effort. To be successful, a volunteer fundraiser has to commit to hours and hours (and hours and hours), something few are willing to do. What if every organization could offer the right tools to make fundraising easy, effective, respectful and instantly rewarding?

What if by leveraging data analytics every fundraiser could quickly understand and qualify their network, to make the right ask, to the right prospective donor, at the right time?

Fundraising methodologies have typically referred to the WHAT & the WHEN of fundraising – WHAT type of fundraising methods to choose and WHEN they’re best used.

RevUp has added the WHO, WHY, HOW and HOW MUCH to Fundraising.

Who

Analytics is not about technology, it’s about people

Analytics is not about technology, it’s about people. When it comes to fundraising, it’s about the Who – having the right person, ask the right person.

RevUp connects to existing email and contact management systems to securely integrate each fundraiser’s network.

RevUp’s custom modeling provides information about each person’s likelihood, not only to give, but also to give to a particular organization, candidate or cause.

As donor behavior and preferences continue to evolve, fundraisers need to connect with the right prospects in the most relevant, respectful and engaging ways possible.

Why

Why is someone in your network a great prospect for your cause or candidate and another less likely to give?

RevUp’s proprietary ranking and scoring algorithm, based on thousands of private and public data sources and tested modeling, gives you actionable insight into your network, accurately predicting your best prospects by analyzing their ability and propensity to give.

Whether your organization is looking to better understand your current donors or discover new prospects, RevUp’s analytics plays an important role in the decision making process so that you can build effective fundraising programs.

How and How Much

RevUp takes their methodology further, to the heart of the matter, discovering and developing new donors.

RevUp takes their methodology further, to the heart of the matter, discovering and developing new donors.

RevUp’s software helps volunteer fundraisers uncover unforeseen network connections and supports organizations to enhance existing donor data, discovering how to best frame every appeal.

RevUp’s ranking and scoring results reveal donors at every level of giving.  Those at the top of the ranking are obvious – they have given to your cause or candidate before, they share close ties and affiliations – they are proven donors.  But what about those prospects in the middle who have just never been asked?

Having information about past giving patterns puts you in a great position to suggest giving amounts that are appropriate, giving you the edge when making your ask.
